NON-IMMIGRANT VISA

A visa means an endorsement made on a travel document by the consular officer denoting that the visa application has been properly examined and that the bearer is permitted to proceed to the country of his destination. The visa thus issued is not a guarantee that the holder will be admitted into the Philippines. Admission of aliens is a function of the immigration authority at the port of entry.

For Thai passport holders and citizens of selected countries, visa requirement is waived for a brief stay (21 days) in the Philippines. Those who intend to stay beyond this period are advised to apply for visa before they travel.

Those who are classified as restricted nationals need to secure Philippine visas before their intended travel.

Visa applicants are encouraged to visit or call the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok for requirements.
