The Up Rural High School Glee Club, composed of 28 high school students, and led by their principal, Prof. Liza Carascal, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Linglingay F. Lacanlale on 21 July 2011. The group performed 4 songs of their repertoire to the officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy. The group participated in the 4th Grand Prix Pattaya International Choir Competition on 23 July at Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel in Pattaya.
