International Ramayana Festival

The Ministry of Culture will hold the International Ramayana Festival in celebration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 7th cycle birthday anniversary  at the National Theatre from 5 to 9 December 2011.

The Ramayana Festival will feature Ramayana performances from India, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand; countries maintain a cultural tradition on performing the Ramayana.  The Philippines will be represented by the Ramon A. Obusan Folkloric Group.   

HRH Princess Sirindhorn will play the Thai xylophone on the Gala Performance on December 9, 2011 at 8:00 pm.
