The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok joined “The Emporium Floralistic Wish for Mom” exhibit that was held at the Emporium from August 9 to 14. Organized by the Emporium Shopping Complex and the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand, the event is a floral tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of her 79th Birthday Anniversary.
The Philippine floral arrangement was made of various Philippine mother-of-pearl and other sea shells. In all, there were 79 floral-inspired masterpieces and art objects from the international community, hotels, international schools and floral artists and floral stores. Nine (9) of these were from Embassies.
HRH Princess Soamsawali presided over the formal opening of the exhibit on August 11, 2011.
