The Philippine Embassy and the Filipino community in Thailand joined hands once again in organizing a series of lively events to mark the 110th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine independence. Embassy turns over donation: The Philippine Embassy turns over donation to victims of the fatal vehicular accident on 7 May 2008 . The accident, which claimed the life of a Filipino expatriate worker and injured nine others, took place in Thailand's northern province of Udon Thani on 7 April 2008.
